Can I borrow a BIUM book at a BCUL desk? Can I borrow a BCUL book at the BIUM desk?

Yes.

• BCUL items can be requested in Renouvaud from BiUM-CHUV or BiUM-Cery or BIHM.
• BIUM and BIHM items can be requested from Renouvaud, with a BCUL site as the pick-up location.

Items are delivered to the chosen library in the week following the request. Please wait until you receive the availability e-mail before coming to the library.

• The CHUV university library of medicine (BiUM - CHUV) offers over 50,000 documents on medicine and its specialties.
• The University Library of Medicine at Cery (BiUM - Cery) specializes in the field of mental health, and offers over 20,000 references.
• The library of the Institut des Humanités en Médecine (BIHM) offers a collection of almost 70,000 references, organized around the following themes: history of medicine - medical ethics - sociology of medicine - philosophy of medicine - medical anthropology - spirituality - medicine and art.

Can I return a book I borrowed from CHUV to the BCUL? 

Items from BiUM and BCUL libraries can be returned to any BiUM or BCUL library desks or left in the returnboxes.
